Janeke Luxueuse × Coco Safar Collaborations

Some collaborations feel natural from the very first conversation guided by shared
values, a mutual appreciation for craftsmanship and a love for timeless beauty. My
collaboration with Coco Safar in Sea Point, Cape Town was exactly that.

Coco Safar is known for curating refined culinary experiences for a discerning, luxury
clientele. With the launch of their new brunch menu alongside the promotion of an
elevated dinner experience the timing felt perfectly aligned to bring fashion and
gastronomy together in a way that celebrated versatility, elegance and sensory detail.
For this collaboration, I selected pieces from my première Janeke Luxueuse collection,
styling them intentionally to mirror the rhythm of the day. Garments were layered and
paired to create effortless, elevated brunch looks, relaxed yet polished and later
transitioned into more refined evening silhouettes for the dinner shoot. The aim was to
showcase the adaptability of the collection: pieces designed to move seamlessly from
day to night, just like the modern woman they are created for.

The shoot unfolded over eight beautifully curated hours, allowing the story to evolve
naturally. As daylight faded and the atmosphere shifted, the dinner experience began
and it was nothing short of enchanting. A black-and-white vintage film played softly in
the background, setting a nostalgic, cinematic mood. We were treated to a thoughtfully
prepared four-course dinner, accompanied by a carefully curated wine tasting that
elevated the experience even further. Every detail felt intentional, refined and
immersive.

The collaboration felt especially meaningful knowing the journey behind Coco Safar.
The owner has travelled extensively, drawing inspiration from international food cultures
and has also spent time working within the luxury fashion industry. His deep
appreciation for timeless design and quality craftsmanship made our connection
effortless. He immediately resonated with the elegance and longevity of Janeke
Luxueuse pieces which is why the idea of a collaboration felt instinctively right.
This partnership was about more than a shoot. It was about introducing my designs to a
like-minded audience, individuals who value artistry, experience and quality over trends.
Just as Coco Safar crafts moments meant to be savored, Janeke Luxueuse creates
garments designed to be worn, loved and lived in over time.

When fashion and food come together with intention, the result is something truly
special, an experience that lingers long after the last course is served and the final.
